Public meeting to explore impact of homelessness on Village businesses

Claremont Police Department officials and city staff will be available to answer questions regarding homelessness in the Claremont Village at a public meeting to be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 27 in Council Chambers at city hall on Second Street.


The meeting, hosted by the Claremont Village Marketing Group (CVMG), will bring together city leaders and business owners to discuss policies and procedures regarding homelessness and safety in the Village. Lt. David DeMetz and Corporal Garrett Earl from PD, as well as Michelle Castillo, Management Analyst from Human Services will be available to provide information regarding city policies.
